In this agreement, “ACE”, “we” and “us” mean Hangzhou Chuyu Game Technology Co., Ltd. (杭州初宇游戏科技有限公司) and its affiliated entities, doing business as ACE Entertainment. Our studio is in Hangzhou, China. You can contact us at business@gamewithace.com.
“Games” means every game we operate, on any platform, together with its software, updates, servers, official websites and official channels.
Accepting These Terms
These terms are the rules for using our Games. They apply together with our Privacy Policy, Children’s Privacy notice, published game rules and any other notices that apply to a Game. If you download a Game through a store or platform, that store’s end-user licence agreement may also apply.
By downloading, installing, accessing or playing a Game, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Game. If you are below the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms for you.
Please read the provisions concerning accounts, virtual items, availability, liability limits, suspension and termination carefully.
Your Licence To Play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited licence to download and use the Games for your own non-commercial entertainment. This licence does not give you ownership of the Games, your account, virtual items or any ACE intellectual property.
Please obtain the Games only from ACE’s official channels or authorised platforms. We may update, patch, change or discontinue a Game or part of a Game when reasonably necessary for security, technical, legal, operational or gameplay reasons.
Please don’t:
• copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or commercially exploit a Game except where we expressly permit it;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law cannot prohibit that activity;
• bypass, interfere with or help anyone bypass security, DRM, licensing checks, platform protections or technical limits;
• use cheats, bots, automation, exploits, unauthorised software or services that affect fair play or the operation of a Game;
• use a Game for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes another person’s rights; or
• remove or alter copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.
We Own The Game
The Games and everything in them—including software, code, art, characters, names, stories, music, audio, text, interfaces, data, logos and trademarks—belong to ACE or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
No Ownership Of Your Account
An account is a limited, personal permission to access relevant ACE services. It is not property and cannot be sold, transferred, shared, inherited or traded. You must keep your login information secure and are responsible for activity on your account.
We may require information or verification to protect an account, comply with law or resolve a support request. Our staff will never ask you for your password. Please report suspicious contact or account activity to us promptly.
No Ownership Of Virtual Items
Virtual currency, in-game items, cosmetics, progress, entitlements and similar digital content are licences to use the relevant Game features. They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money unless required by law, and may not be sold, exchanged or transferred outside the Game unless we expressly permit it.
We may change, rebalance, remove or replace virtual items when reasonably needed for the Game’s operation, security, fairness or legal compliance. Where the law requires a remedy, we will provide it as required.
Code Of Conduct
Please use our Games respectfully and lawfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate, defraud or deliberately harm other players. Do not post unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, hateful, violent or infringing material; spam, advertise without permission, exploit bugs, disrupt services, cheat, evade enforcement or encourage others to do so.
We may use automated and human review, gameplay data, reports and other information permitted by our Privacy Policy to investigate suspected violations and protect our community and services.
Suspension And Termination
We may limit, suspend or terminate access to a Game or account if you breach these terms, create risk or harm, engage in fraud or abuse, if required by law, or if we reasonably need to protect the Game, players or ACE. We will act proportionately where reasonably possible.
You may stop using the Games at any time. Ending access does not transfer ownership of an account, virtual item or other Game content, and provisions that should continue by their nature will continue to apply.
Videos, Streams, And Fan Content
Our Fan Content Policy explains what you may do with videos, livestreams, fan works and other community creations that use our Games. That policy forms part of these terms for fan content and controls if it conflicts with this section.
Your Content And Information
If you submit, upload or otherwise make content available through a Game, you remain responsible for it. You confirm that you have the rights needed to do so and that it does not violate these terms or the law.
You grant ACE the limited rights needed to host, operate, improve, promote and provide the relevant Game and its community features, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Privacy And Younger Players
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. Our Children’s Privacy notice provides additional information for children and guardians. Do not use a Game if you are not permitted to do so under the law or applicable age requirements.
Service Availability And Disclaimers
We work to keep the Games available and enjoyable, but Games are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible service, or that every issue can be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACE disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Where liability may be limited, ACE’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussion and, if unresolved, submitted to the court with jurisdiction in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, China, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Languages
The Chinese language version of these terms is the governing version. If this English version conflicts with the Chinese version, the Chinese version controls to the extent permitted by law.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms when needed for legal, security, operational or product reasons. We will give notice where required. Continued use of a Game after the effective date of an update means that you accept the updated terms.
